OPTIMUM NUTRITION was founded in 1986 by the brothers Tony and Michael Costello. The brothers saw a lack of quality and innovation in the sports nutrition industry so they created Optimum Nutrition to fill the void. The brothers built the brand on the shoulders of great products like ON Gold Standard 100% Whey.
After 22 successful years, the Costello brothers sold Optimum Nutrition to the international group Glanbia, who continue to run the company with pride today.
